217962. (2023•西安中学•高三上四月) Lately,I've been thinking about my school life in the 1990s,when in class we were encouraged to express ourselves through creative writing, public speaking or perhaps taking part in some form of drama. And as we shared our creativity we were improving our communication skills .The emphasis here was how best to convey our thoughts as clearly as possible.Yet it seemed that all spoken word exercises were being taught only from the speaker's point of view, with little or no time spent teaching the art of listening.
And that was a missed opportunity because young children are remarkable listeners. They take in words, ideas and speech patterns, quite often without our awareness.Yet somewhere along the way,we teach them to stop listening.Perhaps they would benefit from lessons in selective silence, concentration, while focusing on knowing how to process all incoming information.Sadly,to the best of my knowledge,no such programs are offered.
We seem to spend less time actually listening to one another. One reason might be the fact that we have become a much more visual society as a result of exposure to television, the Internet and all manner of hand-held wireless devices. We tend to be more self-absorbed and primarily focused on hearing ourselves talk rather than listening to others.
I attended a small family gathering a few years ago and almost everyone, except my 86-year-old aunt, was constantly texting or checking email on their iPhone. It made me wonder why we had bothered to get together in the first place as we were paying so little attention to one another. We could just as easily have had an online get-together.
Listening is indeed a rare and special talent, and one that takes a lot of practice. But once you have gotten comfortable with the technique, you might find your next face-to-face talk a whole lot more meaningful.Simply listening for nuances(细微差别) in conversation will provide so much more context and substance for the words you are hearing.Remember,in order to be interesting, you must first be interested. And in conversation, you are supposed to be listening, not waiting to talk.

(1)What is the author's attitude toward the class in the 1990s?
A.Objective.

A.We have less time to communicate.
B.We have a sense of self-importance.
C.The rapid development of technology.
D.The lack of care and understanding for others.
(3)What can we learn about the author's family gathering a few years ago?
A.His aunt wasn't good at listening.
B.His aunt didn't like attending family gatherings.
C.His family members were engaged in hot discussions.
D.His family memberowed little interest in one another.
(4)What is the purpose of the last paragraph?
A.To lead a discussion.
B.To give a suggestion.

(1)推理判断题。根据第一段Lately,I've been thinking about my school life in the 1990s,when in class we were encouraged to express ourselves through creative writing, public speaking or perhaps taking part in some form of drama. And as we shared our creativity we were improving our communication skills. The emphasis here was how best to convey our thoughts as clearly as possible.Yet it seemed that all spoken word exercises were being taught only from the speaker's point of view, with little or no time spent teaching the art of listening.(最近,我一直在回想我在20世纪90年代的学校生活,当时我们在课堂上被鼓励通过创造性写作、公开演讲或参加某种形式的戏剧来表达自己。 故选A。
(2)细节理解题。根据第三段There is no question that we are a nation of bad listeners. One reason might be the fact that we have become a much more visual society as result of exposure to television, the Internet and all manner of hand﹣held wireless devices(毫无疑问,我们的国家都是糟糕的听众。其中一个原因可能是,由于电视、互联网和各种手持无线设备的使用,我们的社会变得更加视觉化)可知,作者认为,是技术的快速发展让我们成为糟糕的倾听者。故选C。
(3)细节理解题。根据倒数第二段中I attended a small family gathering a few years ago and almost everyone except my 86﹣year﹣old aunt was constantly texting or checking email on their iPhone. It made me wonder why we had bothered get together in the first place as we were paying so little attention to one another(几年前,我参加了一个小型家庭聚会,除了我86岁的姑姑,几乎所有人都在不停地用iPhone发短信或查看电子邮件。这让我很好奇,我们当初为什么要在一起,因为我们对彼此的关注如此之少)可知,在几年前的家庭聚会中,作者的家人对彼此都不感兴趣。故选D。
(4)目的意图题。根据最后一段Remember,in order to be interesting,you must first be interested.And in conversation,you are supposed to be listening,not waiting to talk(记住,要想做个有趣的人,你首先得有兴趣。在谈话中,你应该倾听,而不是等着说话。)可推知,最后一段的目的针对于如何做一个有趣的人最后一段给出了建议。故最后一段的目的是给建议。A.To lead a discussion.引出讨论;B.To give a suggestion.提出建议;C.To provide a warning.提供警告;D.To make a comparison.进行比较。故选B。

201578. (2025•长安区•一模)     Will artificial intelligence (AI) replace my job? This is a question that many people think about these days.At present, the application of AI robotics in professional fields,as well as ChatGPT's abilities to write essays, solve complex problems and more, have heightened moral concerns.
Some people see AI as the ultimate cure for society's most fundamental problems, while others fear that AI will overtake human intelligence. These two views are based on the assumption that AI is better and smarter than humanity and may ultimately replace human decision-making.But given the fact that technology is the product of human civilization, the challenge from AI is something we have created for ourselves as we keep pushing our own boundaries. In other words,AI's progress, functions and future direction are all determined by the human brain.
Before AI becomes a threat to humanity, the international community should reach an agreement on the role it is to play.More importantly, related laws and regulations must ensure that AI will benefit society and prevent it from threatening human life.Robots, for example, are believed to develop emotional intelligence sometime, which enables them to recognize, understand and express emotions in a way that is similar to humans, but we must avoid AI copying human emotions.Without legal restrictions,AI may become a social disaster.
The AI-driven new industrial revolution(革命) is irreversible. This, like previous ones, which introduced changes that had been unimaginable before, will certainly affect human employment. But it always turned out humanity was able to adapt to each industrial revolution and create new forms of employment. Therefore,it's unnecessary to worry AI will replace our jobs. While technology advances at a rapid pace, what we need to do is to welcome the AI era rather than block its unfolding for fear of the unknown.

(1)Why are some people concerned about AI?
A.It has been applied widely.
B.It has led to social problems.
C.It may outsmart humans.
D.It is the product of humanity.
(2)How can we prevent AI's potential threat?
A.By stirring emotions.
B.By setting restrictions.
C.By blocking functions.
D.By changing regulations.
(3)What does the underlined word "irreversible" in the last paragraph mean?
A.Undesirable.
B.Unbelievable.
C.Unpredictable.
D.Unavoidable.
(4)What does the writer suggest readers do with the coming of the AI era?
A.Deal with it positively.
B.Accept it passively.
C.Respond to it randomly.
D.Defend it unconditionally.

201655. (2025•高新一中•十模)     In one horrible film plot,Al eventually outsmarts humans and takes over computers and factories. In another, large language models (LLMs) of the sort that power generative AI like ChatGPT give bad guys the know-how to create destructive cyberweapons.
It is time to think hard about these film plots, not because they have become more probable but because policymakers around the world are considering measures to guard against them. The idea that AI could drive humans to extinction is speculative—no one yet knows how such a threat might materialise and no common methods exist for determining what counts as risky.Plenty of research needs to be done before standards and rules can be set.
Governments cannot ignore a technology that could change the world deeply.Regulators have been too slow in the past, but there is danger, too,in acting hurriedly. If they go too fast, policymakers could create global rules that are aimed at the wrong problems and are ineffective against the real ones.
Because of the computing resources and technical skills required, only a handful of companies have so far developed powerful "frontier" models.New hurried regulations could easily block out competitors to the "handful of companies",especially because these companies are working closely with governments on writing the rule book.A focus on extreme risks is likely to make regulators careful of open -source models, which are freely available and can easily be revised.
The best that governments can do now is to set up the basic systems to study the technology and its potential risks, and ensure that those working on the problem have enough resources. As AI develops further, regulators will have a far better idea of what risks they are guarding against, and consequently what the rule book should look like.A fully mature body could eventually take shape. But creating it will take time and reflection.

(1)What does the first paragraph function as?
A.An argument.
B.An explanation.
C.A comment.
D.A lead-in.
(2)What does the underlined word "speculative" in paragraph 2 mean?
A.Theoretical.
B.Common.
C.Unique.
D.False.
(3)What is the harm of regulators' going too fast on the AI issue?
A.Competition in this area is prevented.
B.The development of AI is restricted.
C.AI will be applied to a limited degree.
D.The public will be misled about danger.
(4)Which can be the best title of the text?
A.AI:a Real Threat?
B.Don't Rush into Policing AI.
C.AI:Humans' Friend or Enemy?
D.Time for Government to Regulate AI

213002. (2023•长安区一中•高三上期中)     Automation (自动化) was a hot topic.Nearly everyone agreed that people would be working less once computers and other kinds of automatic machinery became widespread. For optimists, this was a promise of liberation:At last humanity would be freed from constant toil, and we could all devote our days to more refined pursuits. But others saw a threat:Millions of people would be thrown out of work, and desperate masses would roam the streets.Looking back from 50 years hence, the controversy over automation seems a quaint and curious episode. The dispute was never resolved.
A.J.Hayes,a leader(and no relation to me),wrote in 1964:Automation is not just a new kind of mechanization but a revolutionary force capable of overturning our social order.Whereas mechanization made workers more efficient-and thus more valuable-automation threatens to make them superfluous (过剩的)-and thus without value. The opinions I have cited here represent extreme positions, and there were also many milder views. But I think it's fair to say that most early students of automation, including both critics and enthusiasts, believed the new technology would lead us into a world where people worked much less.
As for economic consequences, worries about unemployment have certainly not gone away-not with job losses in the current recession approaching 2 million workers in our country alone. But recent job losses are commonly attributed to causes other than automation, such as competition from overseas or a roller-coaster financial system. In any case, the vision of a world where machines do all the work and people stand idly by has simply not come to pass.
The spread of automation outside of the factory has altered its social and economic impact in some curious ways.In many cases, the net effect of automation is not that machines are doing work that people used to do.Instead we've dispensed with the people who used to be paid to run the machines, and we've learned to run them ourselves. These trends contradict almost all the expectations of early writers on automation, both optimists and pessimists. So far, automation has neither liberated us from the need to work nor deprived us of the opportunity to work.Instead,we're working more than ever.
What about trades closer to my own vital interests? Will science be automated?Technology al-ready has a central role in many areas of research;for example, genome sequences could not be read by traditional lab-bench methods.Replacing the scientist will presumably be a little harder than re-placing the lab technician, but when a machine exhibits enough curiosity and tenacity,I think we'll just have to welcome it as a companion in zealous research. And if the scientist is elbowed aside by an automaton, then surely the science writer can't hold out either.I'm ready for my 15-hour work-week.

(1)In Paragraph 1,the writer mainly wants to convey that        .
A.automation results in unemployment on
B.automation does more harm than good
C.the issue of automation is still in discussion
D.automation brings in much convenience in life
(2)According to A.J.Hayes,we can infer        .
A.automation is more valuable than what we imagine
B.automation is a revolutionary force to better development
C.the disadvantages of automation far outweigh the advantages
D.the new technology would lead people into working much less
(3)What does the underlined word possibly mean?
A.Put...down for
B.Set...free from
C.Bring...into
D.Take...away from
(4)What can we conclude from this passage?
A.People needn't work so hard due to automation.
B.Traditional labor force will be replaced in the near future.
C.Automation should be accepted reasonably in development.
D.Automation results in more job losses in the writer's country.

252614. (2025•新城区•高三上一月)        Over the last decade, health insurance companies have started using AI algorithms (算法) to decide whether they will pay for treatments your doctor recommends. This is different from the AI doctors use for diagnosis (诊断) in that insurance AI focuses only on coverage and cost.
One of the most common examples is with prior authorization. Before your doctor can give you certain care, they must get the insurer's approval for payment. The AI checks if the treatment is considered medically necessary and covered by your plan.It can limit the amount of care, like how many days you can stay in the hospital after an operation. If the insurance company denies coverage for a treatment your doctor says you need, you'll face tough choices:appeal the decision (a slow process that rarely works),accept different treatment,or pay the very high cost yourself.
Insurers argue these algorithms help make decisions quickly and safely, avoiding unnecessary treatments. However, there is concern that they are often used to delay or deny effective care simply to save money. The systems analyze patient records, but insurers keep exactly how the AI makes its decisions completely secret. This secrecy is especially worrying because if an AI wrongly denies a claim very fast, the patient might get sicker or even die during the long appeal process.
Unlike medical AI tools reviewed by government agencies, these algorithms are mostly unregulated.Their inner workings are guarded as trade secrets. While some recent rules require insurers to consider individual patient needs, companies can still largely set their own standards without outside checks.
Some places have proposed laws demanding doctor oversight of these algorithms. However, most proposed laws still give insurers too much power to define medical necessity and don't require independent testing for safety and fairness before the AI is used.Experts argue government oversight is essential. The agency that reviews medical AI could potentially take on this role.In the meantime, government regulatorould require independent testing of insurance AI for accuracy and fairness.Efforts to regulate this insurance AI are beginning, but much stronger action is still needed.
28. What is the common use of AI algorithms used by insurance companies?
A.Assisting doctors in diagnosing patients.
B.Approving the treatment given by doctors.
C.Providing care services for some patients.
D.Reducing administrative costs for hospitals.
29. How do insurers handle the decision-making process of their AI algorithms?
A.They provide some effective solutions.
B.They help governments to regulate it.
C.They keep it private as trade secrets.
D.They require doctors to oversee.
30. What problem was mentioned about the AI algorithms in paragraph 4?
A.It lacked regulation in most cases.
B.It didn't work perfectly most of the time.
C.It hardly considered patients' needs.
D.It was equipped with different standards.
31. What is a suitable title for the text?
A.Regulatory Challenges and Solutions for Medical AI
B.The Rise of AI Algorithms in Health Insurance Companies
C.Insurance AI Algorithms:Issues and the Need for Regulation
D.How AI-Driven Insurance Decisions Affect Patient Choices

204706. (2022•西安中学•高一下期末) Students and Technology in the Classroom I love my blackberry (黑莓手机)— it's my little connection to the larger world that can go anywhere with me.I also love my laptop computer,as it holds all of my writing and thoughts.Despite this love of technology,I know that there are times when I need to move away from these devices (设备) and truly communicate with others.
On one occasion,I teach a course called History Matters for a group of higher education managers. My goals for the class include a full discussion of historical themes and ideas.Because I want students to thoroughly study the material and exchange their ideas with each other in the classroom,I have a rule-no laptops,IPads, phones, etc. When students were told my rule in advance of the class, some of them were not happy.
Most students think that my reasons for this rule include unpleasant experiences in the past with students misusing technology. There's a bit of truth to that. Some students think that I am anti-technology.There's no truth in that at all.I love technology and try to keep up with it so I can relate to my students.
The real reason why I ask students to leave technology at the door is that I think there are very few places in which we can have deep conversations and engage complex ideas.Interruptions by technology often break concentration (专心) and allow for too much dependence on outside information for ideas.I want students to dig deep within themselves for inspiration and ideas.I want them to push each other to think differently and make connections between the course material and the class discussion.
I've been teaching my history class in this way for many years and the evaluations reflect student satisfaction with the environment that I create.Students realize that with deep conversation and challenge, they learn at a level that helps them keep the course material beyond the classroom.
I'm not saying that I won't ever change my mind about technology use in my history class, but until I hear a rally good reason for the change,I'm sticking to my plan.A few hours of technology-free dialogue is just too sweet to give up.

(1)Some of the students in the history class were unhappy with        .
A.the course material
B.others' misuse of technology
C.discussion topics

A.explore
B.accept
C.change
D.refuse
(3)According to the author, the use of technology in the classroom may        .
A.keep students from doing independent thinking
B.encourage students to have deep conversations
C.help students to better understand difficult themes
D.affect students' concentration on the teacher's ideas
(4)It can be inferred from the last paragraph that the author        .
A.is quite stubborn in teaching
B.will give up teaching history
C.will change his teaching plan soon
D.values technology-free dialogues in his class

204651. (2023•师大附中•高二下期末) If you have gone to the cinema and watched the popular movie "The Wandering Earth II" recently, you might be impressed by the intelligent computer MOSS.It can make the reasonable decision in the shortest time based on the given conditions. In fact, such strong AI like MOSS does not exist in reality for the time being.
However, weaker AI,which replaces human processing in a specific field, has already influenced our daily life. For example,OpenAI,the San Francisco-based startup opened up the language model ChatGPT for public testing in November 2022.Compared with traditional search engines, which display simple results according to searching keywords,ChatGPT can interact with people just like dialoguing, answer professional questions, and also answer follow-up questions. Thanks to its revolutionary user experience,ChatGPT obtained more than one million users just five days after its release.
More than a Chatbot,ChatGPT can also realize article creation, code generating and other functions only by requesting.ChatGPT can even write code such as Python, debug (排错)code and generate comments for code just like a professional programmer. It also presented strong capacity in content continuation, literary creation, music creation, etc. It is so powerful that New York City public schools have banned it from their networks and school devices.
However,ChatGPT is still far from perfect.Even OpenAI's CEO once said, "It's a mistake to be relying on it for anything important right now. It's a preview of progress. We have lots of work to do on robustness(稳健性)and truthfulness."
Even though AI like ChatGPT still has a long way to go,predictions about how the technology will influence our society are already there.Among the industries that may be most affected by ChatGPT,experts say,are journalism, law and translation.

204517. (2023•西安市蓝田县城关中学•高一下期末)     When I was young,a friend and I came up with a "big" plan to make reading easy. The idea was to boil down great books to a sentence each. "Moby-Dick" by American writer Herman Melville, for instance, was reduced to: "A whale of a tale about the one that got away." As it turned out, the joke was on us.How could a single sentence convey the essence (精髓) of a masterpiece with over five hundred pages?
Blinkist,a website and an app,now summarizes nonfiction titles in the form of quick takes labeled "bliks." The end result is more than one sentence, but not by much.Sarah Bakewell's "At the Existentialist Cafe" is broken into 11 screens of information;Michelle Obama's "Becoming" fills 13.
Blinkist has been around since 2012.It calls its summaries "15-minute discoveries" to indicate how long it takes to read a Blinkist summary. "Almost none of us," the editors assure us, "have the time to read everything we'd like to read." Well, yes,of course. "So many books,so little time." declares a poster I once bought at a book market. But I judge the quality of someone's library by the books he or she has yet to read.
That's because a book is something we ought to live with, rather than speed through and categorize. It offers an experience as real as any other. The point of reading a book is not accumulating information,or at least not that alone. The most essential aspect is the communication between writer and reader:The idea behind Blinkist, however,is the opposite:
Reading can be,should be,measured by the efficient uptake (吸收) of key ideas.No,no,no.What's best about reading books is its inefficiency.
When reading a book,we need to dive in,let it take over us,demand something of us,teach us what it can.Blinkist is instead a service that changes books for people who don't,in fact, want to read.A 15-minute summary misses the point of reading;speed-reading with the app isn't reading at all.

(1)What does the underlined part "the joke was on us" in Paragraph 1 mean?
A.We were actually joking.
B.We were laughed at by others.
C.We were underestimating ourselves.
D.We were just embarrassing ourselves.
(2)What is Paragraph 2 mainly about?
A.What Blinkist is.
B.Why Binkist is popular.
C.How to use Blinkist.
D.Where you can use Blinkist.
(3)What is mentioned as a problem about reading in paragraph 3?
A.There are few new books of quality.
B.Many books are hard to understand.
C.People do not have enough time to read.
D.People do not like reading as much as before.
(4)What is an ideal pattern of reading according to the author?
A.Obtaining key ideas efficiently.
B.Further confirming our beliefs.
C.Accumulating information quickly.
D.Deeply involving ourselves in books.

204499. (2023•蓝田县•高二下期末)     Many years ago,I bumped into an old friend of mine.He had devoted his life to acting but had never been quite successful. In his middle age,he seemed defeated and sad.
I thought of his dogged (顽强的) perseverance. Was it smart or foolish? What could he have achieved?Had he quit his dream of acting and moved on?Our culture does not look kindly upon quitting.Failure is perfectly acceptable as long as it eventually results in success.
We chant (反复喊着) "Winners never quit" and "If at first you don't succeed, try again." We lap up (欣然接受) stories of persistence,of the author who submitted stories for years before her novels were published or of the athlete who trained since childhood to win gold at the Olympics.
Persistence pays off when it is rewarded with success, but it does not reward every person. For every JK Rowling, there are thousands of aspiring writers who will never get published. For every Olympic athlete, there are innumerable (无数的) others who trained every day of their lives and never made the cut.
We all agree that doing the same things and expecting a different result is unwise. So why do we believe that persevering through failure after failure is a good idea?We consider quitting in the face of failure to be weak.We believe that perseverance is the key to success.Perseverance is only one part of success. You need talent or skill,as well as passion and drive.Luck and timing are also key to any great success.
Our society believes that anything is possible,as long as you "believe".But not everyone can make it.Quitting when you're not ahead is sometimes the smartest thing to do.Obviously,if you enjoy a pursuit, regardless of its outcome, you should continue. If you knew your novel would never be published, would you want to write? If you could never be a champion swimmer, would you still train?Sometimes,it is wise to put your energy into something else.
Failure is not always the path to success.Sometimes, failure is the door to something new.

(1)What do we know about the author's old friend?
A.He was dissatisfied with his acting performance.
B.He switched his dream of acting to something else.
C.He failed in acting because of a lack of persistence.
D.He failed in all attempts to become a successful actor.
(2)The author mentioned JK Rowling mainly to        .
A.explain how she achieved success in writing
B.show that success doesn't happen to everyone
C.prove that success favors those who are perseverant
D.encourage readers to hold onto their dream until they succeed
(3)What is the meaning of the underlined phrase in paragraph 4?
A.Made out of their dreams.
B.Met the required standard.
C.Improved their performances.
D.Promised to be good players.
(4)What does the author advise us to do if we've failed many times?
A.Make an effort to try new things.
B.Stick to your goal until we succeed.
C.Wait for the right time and good luck.
D.Ask friends or family members for help.

204375. (2023•铁一中学•高三上期末) Leftover again?Hurray Here's the deal:You're as hungry as a horse and you want a delicious meal from a fine restaurant, but you're a little low on funds.
So what do you do?If you happen to live in Europe, the answer is as easy as pie:You pull out your smartphone or tablet, and tap Too Good To Go,Europe's most popular app.Approximately 23,000 restaurants and food sellers post their leftover offerings on the app for half their usual cost.
Why all this incredible generosity?Unbelievably,one-third of the world's food is thrown away, and nearly one billion people don't have enough to eat.Besides, burning wasted food releases harmful carbon dioxide emission into the atmosphere, which contributes to climate change. That's why environment-minded companies around the world are creating apps for phones, tablets, and other smart devices that connect uneaten food with people who want or need it.
After a long day at work,Anne,a 34-year-old student, pulls out her smartphone and chooses a noodle dish-pasta with mushrooms. Then she heads to a restaurant on the banks of the Spree River, where the owner packs her dinner and also offers her a scoop of free ice cream, which is a reward for bringing her own container.
Indeed, there are many programs serving the same mission around the world. In America, people are using an app called Food for All.One hour before a restaurant closes, its staff can post leftover meals to the app for up to 80 percent off menu prices. The app also allows customers to donate leftover meals to others.
In the Netherlands,77,000 people have downloaded an app called NoFoodWasted. This program allows grocery store workers to share products that are approaching their expiration dates with customers who might need them.
Some countries are taking their commitment to reducing food waste a step further.France and the Czech Republic, for example, have laws that prohibit restaurants and grocery stores from throwing away food.Instead, workers are required to donate that food to charity.
So think about if there might be a better use for your uneaten vegetables. The planet will thank you.

D.Nearly one billion people on the planet do not get enough food to eat.
(3)What can you infer from the passage?
A.Anne packed a tasty pasta and mushroom dish to give away to charity.
B.The restaurant Anne visits sells its leftover food at a discount each day.
C.The 80-percent-off deal offered on app is not available during lunch hours.
D.Laws have been passed to prevent restaurants from throwing out leftover food.
(4)This passage would be most useful for a student research project on
A.application of technology to help solve the problem of leftover food
B.laws to help promote the safe transportation and sale of food products
C.restaurants using high-tech solutions to reduce packaging waste
D.methods to design apps that connect restaurants with customers

204279. (2023•阎良区•高二下期末)     Modem advancements in digital and online technology are changing the art market.Online events are becoming more popular than ever as they can be attended by anyone from anywhere. At the heart of this online art world are OVRs.
Before going into how OVRs are shaping the art world,it's important to understand what they are.An OVR is an Online Viewing Room that allows art enthusiasts to take part in events through their computer screens.OVRs transmit galleries and events to art lovers through live feed which can be viewed from anywhere in the world!
OVRs enable art to travel across the world, without ever leaving the studio! This increases the number of possible collectors and buyers that will be able to view new pieces.
Online viewings also meant that the art market could continue to function and exhibit art, even with lockdown restrictions.Although many events were cancelled,a study showed 41% of wealthy people bought work at a fair in 2020,while 45% did it through an online viewing room.
Besides,OVR displays can be changed easily and updated at any time. This means that viewers can easily stay on track with the latest works and view updated displays as regularly as they would like.
While OVRs may be practical, many enthusiasts say that the online viewing platforms don't provide the full gallery experience, and this is their main problem.Physical art shows allow enthusiasts to network with new people, discuss and see the art in real life before making a decision to buy.
So,will OVRs continue to rise?Probably yes:OVRs are likely to play a big role in future art sales. This is because online viewing platforms bring a number of benefits to art lovers. However, the interactive aspect of viewing art cannot be fully replaced by OVRs,so expect a combination of the physical and the digital art world.

(1)What is the author's main purpose in writing Paragraph 1?
A.To bring up the topic of the text.
B.To list some interesting examples.
C.To show the types of the markets.
D.To introduce a problem to be solved.
(2)What do the percentages in Paragraph 4 show?
A.The art market is easily affected by accidents.
B.OVRs are more effective than face-to-face events.
C.OVRs help the art market to survive during lockdown.
D.People involved in art sales are mostly from wealthy families.
(3)What does Paragraph 6 mainly talk about?
A.The future of OVRs.
B.The history of OVRs.
C.The popularity of OVRs.
D.The disadvantages of OVRs.
(4)What can we know from the last paragraph?
A.OVRs will gradually replace face-to-face art events.
B.OVRs will coexist with the physical art world.
C.OVRs will create an interactive atmosphere for art lovers.
D.OVRs will make up more than half of the future art market.
