206029. (2016•长安区一中•高二下期末) Ways to save timeWe all wish we had just a bit more time.Just think what you could do with an extra hour or two each day:you could finally stick to an exercise routine,or spring-clean the house,or write your novel,or learn the guitar and so on.
(36)        But I can help you find more hours in your day for the things that really matter.
Ⅰ.Get Out of Bed Earlier
If you normally get up at 7:30 a.m.,try getting up at 7:00 a.m.That half-hour might not sound like much, but it could be time that you use to exercise,to read that book you've been meaning to finish.(37)
Ⅱ.Do the Important Tasks First
Once you get to work, get the important ones done first (not the easy ones,or even the urgent ones). You can afford to spend at least an hour working on big, important tasks rather than on all those little urgent ones.
(38)        The urgent tasks will still get done, and you won't miss the important ones.
Ⅲ.Reduce Interruptions
If colleagues have a habit of hanging around your desk to chat,or if the phone is constantly ringing, you might find that it takes you half the day to finish a simple task like writing a letter.Constant interruptions don't just eat up time, they also break your concentration.
When you've got a big task to focus on,let your calls go to voicemail.(39)        Wearing headphones makes it less likely that people will try to strike up a conversation.
Ⅳ.(40)
A few minutes chatting, browsing the web,and so on,can easily turn into hours of wasted time over the course of a day.
When you're working, work. If your concentration is slipping, take a proper break:go and get a glass of water,or stretch your legs a bit.And if you're facing a difficult task, try breaking it into small steps or stages so that it's easier to deal with.
A.If you have an office door, close it.
B.Take Breaks When Necessary
C.If you work like this, you'll usually save time.
D.I can't magically make all your days 25 hours long.
E.Would you want me to make your day longer?
F.Or simply to get your day off to a calm and organized start.
G.Stay Focused on Your Work.

I think that American movies are a good way to spread American culture because often people are influenced by what they see in the movies. Most of the entertainment programs and documentaries we watch on TV are from America, and most of the movies we go to are made in Hollywood.
   (2)       Now,in our cinemas,at least twenty percent of the movies which are shown must be from Spain or from other countries in Europe.

On the other hand,it may be that McDonald's hamburgers will eventually replace the famous Spanish tapas. It's true that in every city in Spain you can find a McDonald's,and they are more popular among the Spanish children than among the adults.(5)

A.Many Spanish people like to watch movies.
B.The Spanish people normally eat at home.

(1)        If we don't give parenting everything we've got,our kids will wind up unemployed, living in our basements, and there will be no one to blame but ourselves. That's what I like to call the"perfect parent myth".
The standards of perfection for parents these days are extremely high.Perfect parenting expectations begin with a drug free natural birth.Once our young are born we must breastfeed each baby for years. If we can't breastfeed,we must at least feed on demand. 213784. (2022•西安三中•高二上期中) Patience is known as a virtue. However,it isn't easy to be patient. (1)       Patience might be even more difficult to practice in our digital age when everything seems to be instant. The good news is that it can be learned and improved with time and effort.
Acknowledge your feelings. When feelings of impatience start to appear, you must acknowledge where they are coming from. (2)        Ask yourself why you are having these feelings.Acknowledge why those feelings exist and believe that you can overcome them.Nobody else can make you feel anything but you.
   (3)        The key to having excellent patience is practice."How?" you may ask.Practice exercising patience in short-term situations, such as waiting in line at the grocery store,or waiting for someone to call you back.If you can take control of your emotions in small-scale situations,it'll get easier to control your emotions in more complex situations.
Distract yourself with something productive.Instead of just waiting around for whatever is going to happen, distract yourself a little by doing something productive. For example, you may always feel better after going for a workout.(4)
Remind yourself that worthwhile things take time.Although you might want instant satisfaction, you should know that sometimes the best things come to those who wait.Impatience can come in the way of building something really great.(5)        It is a cliche(陈词滥调)but true because good things take time to grow and develop.

A.Train yourself to be patient.
B.Learn to accept the discomfort of the situation.
C.The next time your patience is tested, try to accept it.
D.We all know the saying: "Rome wasn't built in a day."
E.Anyone who's ever had to exercise patience knows that very well.
F.Figure out exactly what is making you worried, anxious,or upset.
G.Other activities you can try include organizing your closet or washing your car.
