Post-00s（《零零后》）is a documentary about growing up．It shows the real lives of children who were born between 2000 and 2009．They struggle with schoolwork．They face problems in relationships with others．They don't know what to do if a younger brother or sister is born into the family．But this five episode，series，which are aired on CCTV-9 from Aug 20，is different from other TV programs about growing up．
It was filmed over 10 years．The show makers followed the growth of a group of kids，from kindergarten to middle school．In other words，everything in the series is real．Such stories，known as "coming - of - age （真实成长） " stories，have a special attraction．They feed our curiosity for seeing someone else's life．We become more and more interested in the characters as if we truly know them．And while we enjoy the real stories，we also feel the hardship of reality．After all，there's no script（副本） and there's no turning back -- this is real life．
You can also see "real life" in a 2014 film Boyhood．The film follows the life of Mason Jr for 12 years，from when he was 6 to his senior year of high school．
